Lewis County Health System Welcomes Elizabeth Bassity, FNP-C

Description automatically generated with medium confidenceLOWVILLE, NY- Lewis County Health System and Lewis County Family Practice are pleased to welcome Family Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth Bassity, FNP-C to the medical staff.  Elizabeth joins Monica Kwicklis, MD, M. Lynn Pisaniello, MD, Shirley Tuttle-Malone, DO, John Wat, DO, Kathy Der, FNP-BC, and Corrie Schell, FNP-C.  She will see patients at Lewis County Family Practice, located on the main hospital campus on the third floor of the Medical Arts Building.

 

“I am pleased to welcome Elizabeth Bassity, FNP-C to our family practice team,” stated Dr. Sean Harney, Chief Medical Officer, Employed Medical Practices. “Her intellect and training will help us continue to expand and meet the primary health care needs of the communities we serve."

 

Elizabeth earned her Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami, Miami, Florida and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).  She received her B.S. in Nursing from Binghamton University, her Ph.D. in Immunology from Cornell University, and her B.A. in Biology with General Honors from the University of Chicago.  Elizabeth completed clinical rotations in urogynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, and primary care and holds certifications in basic, advanced cardiac, and pediatric life support.

 

Elizabeth comes to the Lewis County Health System from Newton Falls, New York, where she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Clifton Fine Hospital Clinic in Star Lake, New York.  Her professional responsibilities included primary care, assessment, diagnosis, women’s health, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions in the adult and pediatric populations.
