ADK Tug Hill invites you to join the LC33 Hiking
Challenge
Explore Lewis County by hiking 33 miles of trails
across the county with the LC33 Hiking Challenge
Lewis County, NY

Adirondacks Tug Hill (ADK Tug Hill) invites hikers and explorers to join
the LC33 Hiking Challenge. Hike 33 miles of approved trails in Lewis County
to become an LC33 Challenger.
With the LC33
Challenge ADK Tug Hill hopes to promote the trails and beauty of Lewis County
to both locals and visitors who may not know of the many hiking
opportunities we have in our county. ADK Tug Hill encourages families,
college students, groups, and schools to participate in the challenge.
The LC33 Hiking
Challenge is simple. Download the Challenge Form on the ADK Tug Hill
website (https://adirondackstughill.com/lc33-hiking-challenge), hike 33 miles
of trails, turn in the filled-out form and $5 submission fee, and receive a
letter of completion and LC33 award!
Trails currently
included in the challenge are:
Carpenter Road
Recreational Road | Harlequin Rock | NYS DEC Demonstration Area | Sand
Pond| Gleasmans Falls | Inman Glide | Panther
Pond | Whetstone Gulf – Camp & Exercise Trails | Whetstone Gulf – Gorge
Trail | Green Pond| John Young Trail | Little Silver Dawn Lake | Pinckney
Bike Trails| Pine Lake | Otter Creek Horse Trails
Trail guides for
all included trails are available on the ADK Tug Hill website. Challengers
can share their photos and experiences by sending the photos to admin@lewiscountychamber.org
with
the subject “LC33 Hiking Challenge Photos”. Challengers are also welcome to tag ADK Tug Hill on social media
(@adirondackstughill on Instagram) and to share the experience with the
hashtag #LC33
There is no
deadline for Challengers – they can complete the challenge at their own
pace.
