Croghan Street Fairs to Highlight Best of NNY “Homemade” and “Homegrown” Goods

First Event Scheduled for 3-7PM on Thursday, July 29

Croghan, NY- A group of one dozen community-minded citizens are planning the first of the 2021 summer Croghan Street Fairs for Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 3PM to 7 PM. This free event features locally recognized artists and emerging, local creators, fresh produce, meat, and everything from dairy to maple products.

Highlighting the incredible talent and skill of Croghan-area growers, producers, artists, and makers, Street Fair attendees will have the opportunity to shop the work of nearly 20 vendors who work with an array of mediums from jewelry, fiber, paper and ceramics to wood, wax, and mixed media. Street Fair guests will be able to purchase meals or snacks to take on-the-go, for their weekend camping trip, or to enjoy on the grounds. Organizers urge attendees to also support local businesses and to purchase locally made products when in town; several Croghan small businesses will be offering extended hours and specials for attendees.

“Croghan has an abundance of local goods and trades that need to be shared. We want people from all over to come and see the passion these individuals put into their goods. We are excited to have people come to our community and have a great time!” said co-organizer Liza Pominville.

This event will be held on the front lawn of St. Stephen’s Church, the International Maple Museum, and the Basselin House along Main Street (the 9700 block, State Route 812 (Main Street), Croghan, 13327.

**This event is NOT sponsored by the Church, Museum or House – all three locations have generously offered the use of their lawns**

July 29 is the first of three street fair events planned for the summer of 2021; August 26th and September 23rd will be the 2nd and 3rd street fairs.
