Community Bank Permanently Ending Lobby Services at
Turin Road Branch in Lowville, Effective July 30th; Drive-Thru Services
will Continue

Lowville, NY- Community Bank,
N.A. has announced that it will be modifying services at one of their two
branches located in Lowville.
Effective July 30th,
the Turin Road branch, located in front of the Tops Plaza at 7395 Turin Road,
will permanently be ending lobby services. Drive-thru service will continue
as the branch will transition to operate as a drive-thru only branch.
In a letter
notifying customers of the change, Community Bank recommends that anyone
needing lobby services can still use their nearby branch located at 7605
State Street in Lowville. Lobby services at the State Street branch will
remain unchanged, with the lobby open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to
5 p.m.
“We recognize the
evolving ways customers are baking with us, including increased use of our
drive-thru, online, mobile and telephone banking,” Hal Wentworth, Senior
Vice President of Retail Banking at Community Bank, N.A., said in the
letter. “We remain committed to the Lowville community, and you will be
happy to know that the Community Bank drive thru at 7395 Turin Road will
continue to assist you with depositing or withdrawing money, making loan
and credit card payments and other transactions.”
The night
depository service and the 24-hour ATM will remain operational at the Turin
Road branch.
Customers were additionally
provided with information on digital tools and telephone banking options allowing
them to bank from anywhere.
