Tickets Available Online Now for Grandstand Events at
Lewis County Fair

Lowville, NY- For the first
time, tickets for all of the grandstand events
during the Lewis County Fair will be available for
purchase online, prior to the events. Ticket sales opened yesterday
and those interested in attending any of the grandstand shows are
encouraged to purchase their tickets online to ensure they get a ticket.
The move to
online sales came about this year as a way to make
sure that capacity restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic were adhered
to. The plan was to sell 33 percent of capacity, which was the current
level allowed, and make additional tickets available as capacity limits
were increased. But, just after ticket sales were opened on Tuesday, Governor Cuomo announced that COVID-19
restrictions were lifted as 70 percent of adult New Yorkers have received
the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

that grandstand tickets will now be available for purchase at the fair the
day of the event, the normal manner for ticket sales in the past, but will
still be available online. Some events, like the Thursday night Tractor
Pull, have sold out in the past, so the best way to guarantee a ticket is
to purchase online in advance.
