The Lowville American Legion Auxiliary Unit 162 donated $6,500 (from Fish Fry revenues) to Sitrin’s Military Rehabilitation Program. The program provides Care to Post 9/11 Veterans and Service Members.

It is designed to treat individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive issues by addressing the specific needs of each service member.  Therapy and treatment options are personalized for each veteran based on military, combat, and reintegration experiences.

Located in New Hartford, Sitrin’s program is different from conventional veteran care; with an emphasis on combining traditional and non-traditional therapy techniques.

The American Legion is located at 5383 Dayan Street, Lowville.  Further information can be obtained by calling 376-3712. Please join our Legion and help us, as we help others.
