Lewis County, NY COVID-19 Testing/Cases Updates

 

Lewis County Public Health confirms 2 new cases of COVID-19 in today’s update, from 101 new test results. There are no additional recoveries reported, bringing the total active case count up to 8. There is currently 1 Lewis County resident hospitalized due to the virus and there are 15 residents under quarantine restrictions.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Update:

With an increasing plentiful supply of vaccine, Lewis County is changing the process to sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Rather than signing up for the wait list on the county website, residents will now be able to look ahead to upcoming clinics and register themselves for an appointment.

  • Arrive at the vaccination site at the time of your appointment so that proper social distancing guidelines can be followed.

  • If you have tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days, are currently in quarantine or isolation, or are awaiting the results of a COVID test, you are not eligible to get the vaccine at this time, please register at a later time.
  • You must pre-register for this event.
