Lewis County, NY COVID-19 Testing/Cases Updates

 

Lewis County Public Health confirms 1 new case of COVID-19 in today’s update, from 72 new test results. There were 2 additional recoveries reported, bringing the total active case count down to 2. There are currently no Lewis County residents hospitalized due to the virus and there are 21 residents under quarantine restrictions.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Update:

With an increasing plentiful supply of vaccine, Lewis County is changing the process to sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Rather than signing up for the wait list on the county website, residents will now be able to look ahead to upcoming clinics and register themselves for an appointment.

  • Arrive at the vaccination site at the time of your appointment so that proper social distancing guidelines can be followed.  
  • MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  
  • Please wear a short sleeve shirt.  
  • If you have tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days, are currently in quarantine or isolation, or are awaiting the results of a COVID test, you are not eligible to get the vaccine at this time, please register at a later time.
