Welcome Back for Father’s Day!

The Constable Hall Association is ready to welcome visitors back to the Hall for Father’s Day 2021. And though the day will not look as it has in the past, we are pleased to share this historic home with the community once again.

The Hall will be open from 1-4 pm June 20, 2021 and tours will be given by director Sandy Roberts and docent Jared Beyer, on the half hour.

We are encouraging everyone to come take a peek at the changes to the garden paths. You will not be invited into the garden as construction work is still ongoing but a trip to the garden gate will offer not only a garden view but also a chance to purchase some of our popular plants. For a donation, Master Gardener Gina Mallette will be happy to share some of these traditional perennial plants. There will be Black Eyed Susan, Spurge, Day-lilies, Iris, Hosta, Roses, Lupines, Foxglove, Marguerite Daisies, Lemon Balm, Solomon's Seal, and Phlox. Enjoy a piece of our garden in yours!

There will be a scavenger hunt, crafts, and games reflecting the period of the Hall for kids of all ages. The Constable Hall Association is hoping to start a new program for kids. Information about the “Constable Hall Challenge” will be shared on Father’s Day. If you are looking for a rewarding way for your children to spend time this summer be sure to check out “The Challenge!”

The gift store will be open for the afternoon. Stop in, say hi to Mary and see what’s new.

For those of you looking for the Silent Auction you can find it online this year thanks to Adirondack Asset Auctions. Bidding began June 14 and will run through June 21. Soft closing for the auction begins at 6:00 pm on the 21st and pick up for winning bidders will take place from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23 in the Servants Quarters on Constable Hall grounds. Payment should be cash or check. Visit adkauctions.com for more information.

For all the Dads and families we invite you to bring a blanket to relax on the lawn, pack a picnic, or sit by the pond. Take a few minutes to unplug and enjoy your day at the Hall!

Happy Father’s Day !!

Please look for future events taking place later this summer.

And if you have time stop up to the Fly Wheels and Pulleys event just up the road.
