Northern Credit Union Donates $3000 To Carthage Area Hospital Foundation

Contribution to Benefit Local Healthcare in NNY

(May 25th, 2021) CARTHAGE, N.Y. — A donation of $3000 was recently made by Northern Credit Union to the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation (CAHF).

“On behalf of the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation and Board of Directors, we thank Northern Credit Union for their incredibly generous donation. We couldn’t support the hospital without the unwavering support of our donors. We’re grateful for the years of support from Northern Credit Union,” said Taylour Scanlin, Foundation & Marketing Executive Director at Carthage Area Hospital.

Donations made to the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation directly support the needs and initiatives of Carthage Area Hospital from new equipment purchases to healthcare scholarships, along with other capital expenses. The CAHF is preparing to launch a new capital campaign to support the hospital’s replacement project.

“Northern is proud to be part of the North Country community and we’re honored to support the important work of the Carthage Area Hospital. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to each and every healthcare worker, especially after the extreme challenges they faced in 2020. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to not just the Hospital, but to the entire community,” said Dan St. Hilaire, President and CEO of Northern Credit Union.

In addition to its already generous donation, as an added benefit to opening a new checking account or loan at Northern Credit Union’s newly-renovated Carthage Relationship Center, the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation, along with several other Carthage non-profits can be chosen to receive a $50.00 donation.
