and 22nd to Assist Veterans with Enrolling for Benefit and
Counseling Programs

Lowville American Legion to host Veterans benefits
and counseling Open House
Lowville NY- The Lowville
American Legion will be hosting a Veterans Open House on Friday and
Saturday, May 21st and 22nd from 1 – 5
PM.
If you have never
applied for VA benefits, or wish to increase what you have, this is your
chance. With the help of the Watertown Mobile Vet Center and the Jefferson
County VA representative, we hope to enroll eligible Veterans into the
numerous programs offered by the VA.
The Vet Center
works primarily on counseling services available for PTSD, depression, the
transition from the military, and numerous other counseling programs.
The VA representative will be working specifically on enrolling and
increasing benefits, for eligible Veterans.
Please empty your
footlocker on this one. You will need copies of your DD 214 (at the
very least) to start the process. If we are extremely
busy, the necessary forms will be available and we
will get back to you within 72 hours. NYS will be unable to attend
this event due to Covid restrictions, they can be reached at 315-785-2468.
