LEWIS COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICES 2022
LOCAL SERVICES PLAN
Lewis County residents, Lewis County Community
Services needs your help in completing its annual Local Service Plan.
Lewis County Community Services (LCCS) is charged
with ensuring Lewis County residents have access to services for residents
who have or need help/support with mental health, substance abuse, and
developmental disabilities.
One of the primary responsibilities of the Lewis
County Community Services is to develop and submit a Local Service Plan to
each NYS mental hygiene agency. The Mental Hygiene Agencies are the Office of
Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), the Office of Mental Health (OMH)
and the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
The local service plan establishes and monitors the
local priorities, needs and outcomes for the Lewis County Community
Services in the coming year and the benchmarks used to measure the
outcome.
The local plans are approved the by Lewis County
Community Services Board, which is comprised of local service providers, consumers,
and other community members, and are subsequently submitted, approved and
“certified” by the state agencies.
