Lewis County, NY COVID-19 Testing/Cases Updates

 

**Note- Lewis County Public Health didn't provide data for the May 05 report until this morning (May 6), so we have updated yesterday's report accordingly**

 

Lewis County Public Health confirms 12 new cases of COVID-19 in Wednesday’s update, from 156 new test results, for a percent positive rate of 7.7%. A total of 7 additional recoveries were reported bringing the total active case count to 68. There are 3 Lewis County residents currently hospitalized and 139 residents under quarantine restrictions.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Update:

With an increasing plentiful supply of vaccine, Lewis County is changing the process to sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Rather than signing up for the wait list on the county website, residents will now be able to look ahead to upcoming clinics and register themselves for an appointment.
