Fire Dispatch: Around 12:20
p.m., Glenfield and Brantingham Fire were
dispatched to a reported structure fire at the old Beaverite
plant on Railroad St. in Glenfield. Mutual aid has been requested from
Martinsburg Fire and Lowville Fire has been placed on standby for their
ladder truck. Fire coordinators arriving on scene report heavy smoke coming
from the back of the building.
UPDATE (01:51
p.m.): Glenfield units report that the fire is now out, with units now
performing overhaul of the scene.
