Fire Dispatch: Garage Fire, State Route 26 in
Martinsburg

Fire Dispatch: At around 1 PM,
Martinsburg Fire was dispatched to what is reported as a fully involved
garage fire, near a residence, on State Route 26 in Martinsburg. Everyone
is reported to be safely out of the structure. Mutual aid has been
requested from Lowville Fire. Units arriving on scene report a fully
involved fire. Route 26 is being closed to traffic between the area of Flat
Rock Rd. and Glendale Rd. intersections.
UPDATE 01:45 PM: Martinsburg
units report that the fire is knocked down at this time. Crews remain on
scene to perform overhaul.
UPDATE 02:05 PM: State Route 26
has now reopened to traffic.
