JCSO: Two Glenfield Women Accused
of Shoplifting from Watertown Walmart

    Watertown, NY- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of two
    Glenfield women on Friday, stemming from a reported shoplifting incident
    yesterday at the Walmart store located on State Route 3 in the town of
    Watertown.

    Deputies report that Brittney A. Kirk, 33, and Lori J. Durham, 63, both of
    Glenfield, were each charged with one count of Petit Larcency, a class A
    misdemeanor. Ms. Kirk is accused of "failing to scan and pay for 18 items totaling
    $119.54 at the self checkout and attempting to leave the store without rendering
    payment," while Ms. Durham is accused of "failing to scan and pay for 4 items
    totaling $83.04, by passing the point of sale without attempt to render payment."

    Ms. Kirk was additionally charged with one count of Trespass, a violation, for
    knowingly entering a Walmart property after being previously notified and signing
    a trespass restriction form notifying her not to return to any Walmart property.

    Both were issued tickets to appear in the town of Watertown court on January
    14, 2021.
