Beaver Falls, NY- Organizers say the 5th Annual Lewis County Police
Appreciation Week (PAW) 5K-9 Run was one of the largest crowd of runners to
date for the event, with 65 participants taking part in the 'official' run. Results,
provided by Auyer Timing, can be seen here.

The race kicks off Police Appreciation Week, with today's event focusing on area
officers that lost their lives in the line of duty. New this year was a tribute to the
fallen officers as runners closed in on the finish line. A K-9 demonstration started
the morning off, with canines and handlers from the Lewis County Sheriff's
Office, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Watertown Police Department taking
    part.

See our videos below for the start of the race with video of the fallen officer
tribute (first video) and the K-9 demonstration (second video).
