anniversary) will be hosting the American Legion National Commander Brett Reistad. A press conference will be held at 5PM at the Lowville American Legion. The 5th District covers Onondaga, Jefferson, Lewis, Oneida, Herkimer and Oswego counties. A formal sit down dinner of Prime Rib or Chicken Cordon Bleu will be held at the Lowville Elks Lodge with happy hour at 5:30 and dinner at 6:30. Suit and tie or dress or dress slack required. No jeans. Dinner tickets are only $20 PP (our cost is $28). The Lowville Legion also will be housing and providing transportation for at least 8 dignitaries. To help cover this massive cost the host legion, is publishing a 100th Anniversary Book that speaks to the history of the American Legion, military history in Lewis County and their post.
