    Lowville, NY- ALERT for Village of Lowville: The South End of Utica Blvd., from
    Kraft to the East Rd. Extension (just south of Walmart), is currently without water
    due to a water main break, according to Lowville Mayor Donna Smith. Crews are
    working as fast as possible to fix the problem, however the frozen ground is
    slowing down the process. The Village wishes to thank everyone for their
    patience with the situation and apologizes for any inconvenience. Stay tuned for
    updates.

    Update 5:10 AM: Mayor Smith tells linkinglewiscounty.com that the Village hopes
    to have the main repaired and water restored by midnight.

    Update 07:00 AM 02/15/18: Mayor Smith reports that water has been restored to
    the area, with repairs completed around 3 AM.
