197th edition. The theme this year is 'Blue Jeans and Country Dreams'. A host of activities are planned, with the opening day set for Tuesday, July 18th, highlighted by the traditional parade and fireworks display that evening. The Friday night concert is scheduled to be headlined by Charlie Daniels. As is the norm, the fair closes with the annual demolition derby on Saturday. Coleman Brothers Midway will once again offer rides, games and other midway activities. Animal displays and competitions can be found throughout the week. The Lewis County Fair will once again offer free gate admission each day. Parking at the fairgrounds is available at a daily rate of $5, or you can obtain a 5-day parking pass for $15. Pets are NOT allowed at the fairgrounds, with service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability the exception. No skateboarding, bicycle riding, rollerblading or scooter riding will be permitted on the fairgrounds.
