    Albany, NY- The New York State Department of Labor released
    unemployment data for the month of Febrary this afternoon. Lewis County
    came in with a rate of  9.1%, up both from the year ago rate of 8.2% and the
    previous month, January 2017, rate of 8.7%. The New York State average rate
    for February was 5.1%. Lewis County had the second highest rate in the state,
    trailing only Hamilton County's rate of 10%.
