    Lowville- The following activity took place in Lewis County Criminal Court on
    Friday, January 06, 2017, with Judge Daniel R. King presiding:

    Sentencing:

    Cody J. Amidon, 25, of Turin, was sentenced to serve three years of
    probation, and ordered to pay a $750 fine and $200 in court fees on a charge
    of second-degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, to
    which he pleaded guilty on October 28. Mr. Amidon was arrested on the charge
    on July 28 in the village of Lowville.

    Robert K. Nagy, 28, of Greig, was sentenced to serve one year in Lewis
    County Jail, a six-month driver’s license suspension and ordered to pay $375 in
    court fees on a class "D" felony charge of third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of
    Methamphetamine, to which he pleaded guilty on October 28. Mr. Nagy was
    accused of making meth on December 28, 2015, in Port Leyden.

    Timothy C. Parks, 37, of Clinton, was sentenced to five days in Lewis County
    Jail, a five year probation term, an eighteen-month driver’s license revocation
    and mandatory participation in the ignition interlock and victim impact panel
    programs, on a charge of felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, to which
    he pleaded guilty on September 9. Mr. Parks was arrested during the SNIRT
    run, on April 16th, after being stopped on an ATV in the Town of Martinsburg
    with a blood alcohol content of .18%. He had a previous DWI conviction on
    June 4, 2013 in Oneida county, resulting in the felony status for the current
    charge.  

    Dawn Stanley, 39, Lowviile, was sentenced to serve a five year probation
    term, $38.50 in restitution and pay a $50 court fee on a felony charge of fifth-
    degree Attempted Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, to which she
    pleaded guilty on October 28. Judge King granted a motion from the defense
    requesting a driver's license suspension not be imposed. Ms. Stanley was one
    of sixteen individuals arrested on September 28th as part of the "Operation
    Northern Watch" drug roundup.


    A 19-year-old Port Leyden teen was granted Youthful Offender status and
    sentenced to a three year probation term and 50-hours of Community Service
    on a Petit Larceny charge from November, 2015.

    PLEAS:

    Damion R. Dennee, 21, of Glenfield, entered a NOT GUILTY plea to charges
    of third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine and second-degree
    Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. His case was adjourned to
    February 17. Mr. Dennee was arrested on the charges on October 12.
