today, with Judge Daniel R. King presiding: Sentencing: Joyce E. Schader, 38, of Lowville, received a sentence of three years of probation and was ordered to pay $3645.05 in restitution, as well as $250 in court fees, after she entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor count of Petit Larceny on June 10th. Ms. Schader was arrested in April after investigation into an incident occurring in December, 2015.. An order of protection was also issued on behalf of the victim for a period of five years. PLEAS: Scott H. Farr, 44, of Lowville, pleaded guilty to first-degree Aggravated Criminal Contempt, a class "D" felony, with sentencing set for September 9th. He was accused of violating a court order of protection on January 5th. Jessica Kloster, 35, of Carthage, entered guilty pleas to a charge of second- degree Attempted Burglary, a class "D" felony. Sentencing is scheduled for September 23rd. She was arrested by New York State Police last August, after an investigation into a July, 2015 incident in the Town of Denmark. Other Activity A 17-year-old Glenfield youth pleaded guilty to a charge of fourth-degree Criminal Sale of Marijuana, a class "A" misdemeanor. Sentencing was set for October 28th, when youthful offender status will also be determined. The teen was charged with selling marijuana in the Town of Turin on May 24th. |
