| Candlelight Vigil Planned in Lowville for Worldwide Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th 08/26/16 05:00pm |
Prevention Day will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 7:30 PM in Veterans Memorial Park in Lowville. Organizers would like to thank the Lowville American Legion for once again sponsoring this event. The event is held to raise awareness to suicide and mental health issues affecting our community, and to remember those lost to or impacted by suicide. The event is open to all. There will be speakers, music and a reading of names. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own candle, but they will also be available at the event. Organizers ask that you bring your own lawn chairs.
