    Lowville, NY- Shelby L. Poore-Mcintosh, 23, pleaded guilty to second-degree
    Manslaughter, a class "C" felony, this morning in Lewis County Court. The plea
    satisfies all three counts she was charged with, stemming from the July 12th
    death of her three-year-old daughter, Kyralea Poore. She will be back in court
    on December 16th for a control appearance, with no sentencing date currently
    set. Ms. Poore-McIntosh was sent back to Lewis County Jail.

    "She has taken responsibility for her part in the death of her daughter, which is
    an important first step in receiving justice for Kyralea," District Attorney Leanne
    Moser told linkinglewiscounty.com.

    Co-defendant Derrick McDermid, 21, has a tentative trial date set for February
