Lewis County Court Activity Report for March 26, 2021

    Lowville, NY- The following plea and sentencing activity took place in
    Lewis County court on Friday, with the Honorable Daniel R. King presiding:

    Taylor C. Andrews, 24, of Lyons Falls, was sentenced to serve a 3 year
    term of probation on a charge of first-degree Reckless Endangerment, a
    class A misdemeanor, to which e pleaded guilty to on September 4, 2020,
    when admitting to intentionally driving his Jeep toward an individual on April
    12, 2020, in the town of New Bremen, forcing the victim to jump out of the
    way. He was additionally ordered to pay $250 in court fees.

    Blake P. Elliott, 22, of Boonville, pleaded guilty to the following charges
    stemming from two separate incidents:

  • Fourth-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class
    C felony
  • Third-degree Criminal Mischief, a class E felony
  • Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a class A misdemeanor

    Mr. Blake admitted to possessing methamphetamine in the village of
    Lowville on June 29, 2020 and to intentionally damaging a residence and
    impeding the breathing of a victim by applying pressure to the throat on July
    2, 2020, in the town of Lyonsdale. He is expected to be placed on interim
    conditions of probation and into the Lewis County Drug Court program.

    David J. Kantor, 45, of Forestport, pleaded guilty to one count of Reckless
    Driving, an unclassified misdemeanor, a reduction from an original charge of
    Aggravated DWI- With Child, a class E felony. Mr. Kantor was sentenced to
    a conditional discharge and was ordered to pay $388 in fines and court fees
    and perform 50 hours of community service. The charge stemmed from a
    June 9, 2019 traffic stop by New York State Police on Sate Route 177 in the
    town of Harrisburg.

    Emily E. Locy, 32, of Croghan, pleaded guilty to one count of second-
    degree Aggravated Harassment, a class A misdemeanor, a reduction from
    the original charge of third-degree burglary, a class D felony. Ms. Locy was
    then sentenced to serve a 3 year probation term and was ordered to pay
    $250 in court fees.
