Jeffrey Nellenback Announces Candidacy
for Lewis County Legislature's District 10 Seat

    Jeffrey Nellenback has announced his candidacy for the District 10
    seat of the Lewis County Legislature

    Jeffrey Nellenback has announced his candidacy for the District 10 seat of
    the Lewis County Legislature. He is seeking the Republican nomination and
    will be running to fill the vacant seat left by retiring legislator, Jerry King.

    Mr. Nellenback graduated from Syracuse University with his degree in
    Accounting. He is now retired after working for 31 years as an accountant,
    financial officer, acquisition specialist and facility manager in the field.

    Jeffrey and his wife, Joy, residents of Lewis County for nearly 40 years,
    where they’ve also raised their four children. They are currently blessed
    with four grandchildren and enjoy spending their free time with them. Mr. &
    Mrs. Nellenback mow and maintain three cemeteries in the West Leyden
    area. Jeff is also a third generation Christmas tree farmer, supplying many
    residents of the area with their Christmas tree each year.

    Jeffrey has spent much of his life volunteering time and service to his
    neighbors. He has been a member of the West Leyden Fire Department for
    over 20 years. Last year he responded to over 90% of the calls. He has
    served as President of the department for 7 years and is currently serving
    as the Fire Chief for the 10th year. He is also the Lewis County Fire
    Coordinator and Chairman of the Lewis County Fire Advisory Board. He
    leads the Lewis County Hazmat Decon Team and he is one of only five
    active Level II Fire Investigators in the county.

    If elected as the Legislator for Lewis County District 10, Jeffrey will continue
    to “LEAD, SERVE & PROTECT” as his background and experience has
    clearly prepared him to do.
