Village of Lowville Accepting Public Comment
on Draft Police Reform Plan Through March 9th

    PUBLIC NOTICE: POLICE REFORM IN VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE DRAFT
    PLAN

    The Village of Lowville, New York has released its draft Police Reform and
    Reinvention Plan in response to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 203
    issued June 12, 2020. The draft plan will be available on the Village of
    Lowville’s webpage here.

    As stipulated by the Governor’s order, communities across New York State
    are required to prepare a plan in response to Executive Order 203. The
    plans must be offered for public comment, adopted, and submitted to the
    State Budget Office no later than April 1, 2021.

    All public comments must be sent to Olio Consulting at
    OlioConsultingNY@gmail.com. Please subject your email with ‘Village of
    Lowville’.  Public comments on the plan will be reviewed and the final plan
    will be updated if necessary, prior to adoption by the Board of Trustees.  All
    public comments MUST be submitted no later than March 9th, 2021.
