PRESS RELEASE from UP! Coalition of Lewis County:

    UP! Coalition Seeks Community Input

(Lewis County, NY) (12/01/2020) — The United Prevention (UP!) Coalition of
Lewis County is launching their 2020 community survey virtually this year. This
short survey asks residents of Lewis County for their opinions on drugs, alcohol
and vaping use among the youth population.

The online survey can be found by visiting their website at https://uplewiscounty.
org/. The coalition also voted to promote the survey this year by advertising
online and on streaming radio stations to reach their target audience. Cassie
Forbus, UP! Coalition Coordinator states, “The participation of Lewis County
residents in this survey is critical, especially in the time of COVID. It will assist the
coalition to reach all corners of the county, so we can better focus our efforts
where residents believe it matters most.”

The survey is completely anonymous and features a comment section for people
to share their thoughts and stories. The coalition hopes to have at least 300
responses to this year’s survey. The information gathered will be used to target
programming and activities and help to create policies or trainings that would
    benefit county residents.

Cassie Forbus, Coalition Coordinator can be reached at (315) 376-2321 or at
cforbus@mvpsny.org for questions about the survey.

The mission of the United Prevention (UP!) Coalition is to reduce the use of
alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs in Lewis County youth by collaborating with
our community to empower residents to make educated decisions about living a
    healthy lifestyle.
