Abundance of Caution While Potential Threat Investigated

Special Announcement from Harrisville Central School Website:

The Harrisville Central School District received a potential threat this morning

and in consultation with the School Resource Officer, immediately engaged

lockdown procedure and contacted local law enforcement. Out of an abundance

of caution, we evacuated the building while law enforcement conducted a

thorough investigation. At this time, we have been advised that it is safe for

students and staff to return to school. We know our community has many

questions, but we are not able to share additional details, as the investigation is

ongoing. We thank our partners in law enforcement for their swift response."
