Fundraiser Continues Through October 25

    Virtual Baskets for a Cure October 12-25

    LOWVILLE, NY─  There is still time to register and participate in the Lewis
    County Health System Fund for Hope's Virtual Baskets for a Cure event.  The
    raffle and silent auction support the Fund for Hope that provides funding for
    cancer patients with their treatment and travel expenses.

    To register to participate in the Virtual Raffle and Silent Auction, or to make a
    charitable donation, please go to: https://FundforHope.givesmart.com.  Once you
    are registered, you can purchase tickets for raffle baskets and bid on  silent
    auction items from the comfort of your home and help raise money for the Fund
    for Hope.

    "With the cancellation of our primary fundraiser, the annual Breast Cancer
    Awareness Dinner due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope that we can count
    on your continued support for the Basket for A Cure event," stated Robert
    Pfeiffer, Radiology Director and committee member.  "The presence of Covid-19
    does not mean that cancer will take a break, in fact, the impact many have felt in
    our community makes raising funds to support those in our community battling
    cancer even more important."

    The LCHS Fund for Hope has worked to help local cancer patients in their
    journey with cancer since 2008.  The Fund for Hope dispersed $41,678 to
    people in our community battling cancer in 2019.

    The Virtual Raffle/Silent Auction Closes: Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 7:00 PM.
