Town of Lowville Board Appoints New Justice Following Resignation

    Lowville, NY- The Town of Lowville voted unanimously in favor of Resolution
    25-2020, during the August 20th board meeting, appointing Dr. James Coffman,
    Esq., as Town of Lowville Justice, due to the resignation of Justice William R.
    Kiernan.

    Dr. Coffman's appointment is effective August 21, 2020 through December 31,
    2021.

    The position of Justice in the town of Lowville will be on the ballot for election in
    2021.

    Judge Kiernan has served as Town of Lowville Justice since 2014.

    The Town of Lowville holds court on the first and third Thursday of each month
    at 4 p.m.
