Lowville Police Chief Randy Roggie reminds residents of the

Village of Lowville's ordinance on burning, a law that has been on the books

since 2001.

Chief Roggie said that the police department has been receiving a higher volume

of complaints than normal over the past month regarding the burning ordinance.

Chief Roggie wants to ensure that all village residents are aware of the law and

what the penalties are for those disobeying it. Full text of the Village of Lowville's
