Video: Lewis County Sheriff Announces Jail Visits to Resume July 4

    Lowville, NY- Lewis County Sheriff Mike Carpinelli announced this afternoon
    that visits to Lewis County Jail inmates will resume on July 4th. Visits at the jail
    had been suspended since March 12, as a precautionary measure due to the
    COVID-19 pandemic.

    Anyone interested in scheduling a visit with an inmate at the Lewis County Jail
    will need to call 315.376.3511 to make an appointment. Masks will be required
    for both the visitor and the inmate receiving the visitor, in addition to other
    precautionary steps..
