"Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin' By World"
Program Starts in Lewis County June 25

Lowville, NY-

Bridges out of Poverty of Lewis County has scheduled the first

session of the "Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin' By World" program to begin on

June 25th. The group will meet from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. each Thursday in Lowville,

for a total of 16 weeks.

The program is designed to help move individuals and families towards greater

stability and engagement within the community by investigating both individual

resources and resources available in the community- with the goal of building

even more resources for both the individual and community.

Participants are compensated for their time with a $25 gift card for each of the 16

sessions. Transportation and child care vouchers are available for participants if

needed. A meal will also be provided each week.
