| Lowville Food Pantry Implements Emergency Procedures for Services Provided May 07, 2020 12:30 p.m. |

To our friends, partners, volunteers, pantry clients and the general public, As things change daily, sometimes hourly with the coronavirus issue, the pantry has had to make temporary changes. With the ever changing situation, the Staff of the Lowville Food Pantry has implemented emergency procedures for all services to be provided. We will be working with Office for the Aging, The United Way, The Food Bank of Central New York, Transitional Living, The Dept. of Social Services and other agencies and services in the county to assure that those in need are served and protected. For our seniors, disabled and shut in clients we will be providing home delivery of food orders. All requests must be done by phone. They will be processed and delivered with all necessary precautions being taken to protect the most vulnerable in our community. Other emergency procedures have also been instated to protect volunteers at the pantry as well as donors and consumers. We ask for your patience, understanding and assistance while we transition from our normal operations to emergency procedures. Donations of food and supplies will be accepted Mon-Fri from 9 am to 2:30 or by appt.
