| NCPPC Health Navigators Available to Assist Community With Health Insurance Concerns April 06, 2020 03:00 p.m. |
North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council, Inc. has Health Insurance Navigators able to assist individuals and families with their health insurance concerns. Individuals and/or families who have lost employer-based health insurance are able to access the New York State of Health Marketplace to enroll in coverage. In addition, people who already have Marketplace coverage but have experienced a lay-off or reduction in income – even temporary – can have their accounts reviewed to see if they qualify for a lower-cost health plan. Our Navigators are able to work with people one-on-one to discuss their individual circumstance and then assist with the enrollment. All appointments are done over the phone and are free and confidential. |
