Lowville Boys Advance to Semifinals in Section III
Basketball Tournament With Win Over Cazenovia

    Lowville, NY- The Lowville varsity boys basketball team continued their post
    season play this evening with a 70-47 home win over No. 8 Cazenovia in a Class
    B quarterfinal game in the Section III tournament.

    Lowville, the top overall seed in the tournament and defending Section III Class B
    champions, advances to the semifinal round on Saturday for a game at SRC
    Area at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse against No. 5 Marcellus.

    Aidan Macauley led the way in scoring for the Red Raiders tonight with 26 points,
    followed by Chad Bach with 16, Gavin Macauley with 14, Aiden Zehr with 10 and
    Brody Brown and Brett Myers each with 2.











    In a boys Class C quarterfinal game, No. 3 West Canada Valley defeated No. 6
    Beaver River by a score of 73-61.
