Lowville Boys Advance in Sectional
Basketball Tournament With Win Over Camden

    Lowville, NY- The Lowville varsity boys basketball team advanced to the
    quarterfinal round of the sectional tournament with a 77-36 win over No. 16
    Camden this afternoon in Lowville.

    Chad Bach led the way in scoring for Lowville, netting 21 points. Aidan
    Maucauley added 15 with Gavin Macauley contributing 12.

    Lowville, the top seed in the Section III Class B boys basketball tournament  
    bracket, will next play on Tuesday, February 25, facing No. 8 Cazenovia in a
    quarterfinal game. (Update: We'll update with time and location, incorrect
    information was included with the bracket.) UPDATE: The game will be played at
    Lowville Academy with tipoff scheduled for 7 PM.

    Lowville won the Section III Class B title last year, advancing all the way to the
    State championship game in Class B, coming up just short after a 75-74 OT loss
    to Glens Falls in the championship game.
