DMV Offices Experiencing Issues With Processing Transactions

UPDATE 10:50 a.m.:

The issues at DMV have been resolved and all

transactions are now able to be processed!

From the Lewis County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV):

"At the current time, all NYS DMV offices are unable to process any transactions

that have to do with a social security number. That would include all licenses

including EDL and Real ID. DMV is able to do testing and registration renewals

at this time. The state has no estimate on when the Social Security network will

be available. We will update news agencies when the issue is resolved."
