Newly Appointed Justice in Town of West Turin Sworn In

Deborah Earl was sworn in this afternoon as the Town of West

Turin Justice, by the Honorable Charles C. Merrell, during a ceremony at the

Lewis County Courthouse in Lowville.

The Town of West Turin Board recently appointed Mrs. Earl to serve the

remainder of the unexpired term of retiring Justice John Markham. The term

expires on December 31, 2020 and will be on the ballot for the November

election.

Mrs. Earl serves as the Chief Clerk for Lewis County Court and Lewis County

Supreme Court.
