Lowville Earns Trip to Carrier Dome to
Play for Section III Class C Football Championship

The Lowville varsity football team has earned a trip to the Carrier

Dome in Syracuse next Saturday, with a 49-15 win over Canastota in a semifinal

game at Circero-North Syracuse High School this afternoon.

No. 2 Lowville will face No. 1 Cato-Meridian for the sectional championship at the

Carrier Dome in Syracuse on Saturday, November 9, at 2 p.m.

Cato-Meridian defeated No. 5 Herkimer by a score of 16-0 in the other Class C

semifinal game.

In the 8-Man Football Division, the game scheduled semifinal game this

afternoon between South Lewis and West Canada Valley was postponed due to

flooding issues around West Canada Valley. A new date and time will be

announced.

In a D Division football semifinal, No. 2 Beaver River fell to No. 3 Waterville by a

score of 7-6 on Friday night in Lowville.
