Championship today at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School. Beaver River will be competing in the State Cross Country Championships next Saturday (November 16) in Plattsburgh, where they will be looking to add another State Championship. Freshman Lauren Brandt finished 8th overall with a time of 21:12.0, securing an invitation to the State Championship next Saturday. The South Lewis girls cross country team finished second in the Class C Championship. South Lewis had three of the top four runners, all earning an invitation to compete in the State Championships next weekend.
