Week 7 High School Football Scores

This weekend marked the end of the regular season in most

of local high school football. Lowville put the finishing touch on an undefeated

regular season in Class C, with a 56-24 win over Herkimer. Beaver River finished

their season at 5-2 in Class D, with a close 24-20 loss at home to Dolgeville.

Both teams will be headed to sectional playoffs, with the opening quarterfinal

round starting next weekend on October 25.

Seedings for the sectional tournaments will be announced on Sunday. Sectional

Championships will be held on November 8 & 9 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

In the 8-Man Football Division, South Lewis continued their undefeated season

with a 54-12 win over Altmar-Parishville-Williamstown on Friday night, improving

to 5-0. South Lewis will finish their regular season in the 8-Man Division on

Friday at Sherburne-Earlville. Playoffs in the 8-Man Division are scheduled to

begin on November 1.
