Local Section III Semifinal Schedules for Football and Soccer

October 28, 2019   10:30 a.m.
    Lewis County, NY- A number of Lewis County varsity teams have moved on to
    the semifinal round of sectional play in both soccer and football:

    CLASS C FOOTBALL:
    No. 2 Lowville vs No. 3 Canastota
    Saturday, November 2, at 2 p.m., at Cicero-North Syracuse HS

    The other semifinal features No. 1 Cato-Meridian vs No. 5 Herkimer.

    Semifinal winners will meet at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on November 9 for
    the Championship game.

    CLASS D FOOTBALL:
    No. 2 Beaver River vs No. 3 Waterville
    Friday, November 1, at 7 p.m., at Lowville

    The other semifinal features No. 1 Dolgeville vs No. 4 Frankfort-Schuyler.

    Semifinal winners will meet at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on November 9 for
    the Championship game.

    8-MAN FOOTBALL DIVISION:
    No. 1 South Lewis vs No. 4 West Canada Valley
    Friday, November 1, at 6 p.m., at Sauquoit Valley HS

    The other semifinal features No. 2 Weedsport vs No. 3 Altmar-Parrish-
    Williamstown.

    Semifinal winners will advance to the Championship game on November 9 at the
    Carrier Dome.

    CLASS C BOYS SOCCER:
    No. 1 South Lewis vs No. 4 Westmoreland/Oriskany
    Wednesday, October 30, at 5:30 p.m., at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill HS

    The other semifinal features No. 2 Bishop Grimes vs No. 3 Bishop Ludden.

    Semifinal winners will advance to the Championship game on Tuesday,
    November 5 at Vernon-Verona-Sherill HS.

    CLASS D GIRLS SOCCER:
    No. 2 Fabius-Pompey vs No. 3 Copenhagen
    Wednesday, October 30, at 7:30 p.m., at Chittenango

    The other semifinal features No. 1 Poland vs No. 4 McGraw.

    Semifinal winners will meet for the Championship game on Friday, November 1 at
    SUNY Cortland.
