Dailey, 39, entered a guilty plea to one count of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class A-2 felony, in Lewis County Court on Friday morning with the Honorable Daniel R. King presiding. Sentencing was scheduled for December 6, when Mr. Dailey is expected to be sent to State prison for 6 years followed by 5 years of parole supervision. A co-defendant in the case, Brenda Dailey, 33, pleaded guilty in July to one count each of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class A-II felony and third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a class D felony. She was placed on interim conditions of probation for a year, which if successfully completed would result in a final sentence of an additional 4 years of probation. |
