Brackets Released for Section III Football Tournaments

    Brackets were released on Sunday for the upcoming Section III High School
    Football tournaments.

    In Class C, Lowville (7-0) is the No. 2 seed, after loosing a coin toss to Cato-
    Meridian (7-0) for the top seed, and will host No. 7 Skaneateles (5-2) at 7 p.m. on
    Friday, October 25.

    In Class D, Beaver River (5-2) secured the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7
    Thousand Islands (2-5) at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26.

    Semifinals are scheduled for November 1 at neutral sites, with championships
    taking place on November 9 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.
