Beaver River Advances to Sectional Semifinal in Football

Beaver Falls, NY-

The Beaver River varsity football team advanced to the

semifinal round of the Section III Class D football tournament with a 14-6

quarterfinal win over No. 7 Thousand Islands this afternoon.

No. 2 Beaver River will take on No. 3 Waterville on November 1, at a time and

location to be announced, with the winner moving on to the sectional

championship game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on November 9.

The other semifinal match-up in Class D will feature No. 1 Dolgeville versus

No. 4 Frankfort-Schuyler.
