Video: Town of New Bremen Dedicates New Playground
in Honor of Former Longtime Highway Superintendent

    New Bremen, NY- The Town of New Bremen held a dedication ceremony this
    evening for their new playground on the Tillman Road, across from Wagner field.

    Town officials named the playground in honor of former longtime Highway
    Superintendent Ralph "Bub" Hall, who passed away in January at the age of 81.

    Mr. Hall served for 42 years as Highway Superintendent for the Town of New
    Bremen, first elected in 1972 and serving until his retirement on December 31,
    2013.

    Members of Mr. Hall's family (pictured above) were on hand for this evening's
    ceremony

    The playground was made possible through grant funding from the Pratt Northam
    Foundation, Iroquois Gas Transmission System, Beaver River Youth Advisory
    Council, and the Croghan Lions Club. Kaitlyn Metzler, Croghan Lions Club
    Citizen of the Year, chose to contribute the portion of funding she was allowed to
    allocate to the playground project.
