Lowville VFW Holds Ceremony in
Observance of National POW/MIA Recognition Day

A ceremony was held this evening at the Lowville VFW in

observance of National POW/MIA Recognition Day, National POW/MIA

Recognition Day is observed on the third Friday in September each year,

honoring service members who were held as prisoners of war and those who

are still missing in action.

Buckingham Sr., in remembrance of his father Fred- a prisoner of war during
